I got obsessed with soil

I went down a rabbit hole last week.

"Why do massive, healthy-looking trees fall over?"

Coastal Redwoods can grow over 350 feet tall but have roots that only go 6 to 12 feet deep. For such massive trees, their roots are embarrassingly shallow.

They survive because they spread wide and interlock with the roots of every tree around them. They can live up to 2,000 years.

But you know what happens when the soil weakens?

The giant tree falls over on a clear day.

Just a beautiful canopy and nothing left underneath to hold it.

I see the same pattern in too many small businesses when they aren’t getting enough clients.

The appearance is the canopy and it looks beautiful. They have great offers and engaging content.

But the problem is that the roots underground are shallow.

So what are the roots?

→ Conversations with potential buyers. Understand your customers and their reasons to buy

→ Clarity around your offer. If customers are landing on your page and watching your content but not buying, then you are not translating your value to them

→ Trust built before the sale. Not likes. Not followers. Actual relationships with potential buyers, so that stepping into your world feels obvious.

So here's my question for you.

How are the roots doing in your business right now?

If they feel a little dry, I made a free 30-minute masterclass so you can turn more DM conversations into paying clients.
